LISA LAMPANELLI HEADLINES PRIDE July 10

Lisa Lampanelli is Comedy's Lovable Queen of Mean. Heralded as "more than a standup -- a standout," by comedy legend Jim Carrey, Lampanelli is a cross between Don Rickles, Archie Bunker, and a vial of estrogen. She even won accolades from The King of All Media Howard Stern, who called her "a true original and a brilliant comedy mind who'll steal the show every time."

Tickets are on sale now. The show starts at 8 and the party continues after the show downtown at Native Lounge.

Not familiar with her work? Lock the young ones in another room, prepare to be offended, and click to watch a clip on YouTube from her HBO special.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED

SLO Pride is coordinated and produced entirely by volunteers. It is thanks only to the time, money, products and services donated by dedicated community members that we can enjoy big-time events in our small town. The Pride Committee meets the first Monday of each month at 7 PM at the GALA Center; meetings are open to the public and interested volunteers are very welcome. If you would like to contribute in any way, email our volunteer coordinator.

Students can earn free admission to many of our pride week events by volunteering their time. If you would like to help with pride activities and save on the celebration, please complete our volunteer application or email our volunteer coordinator.
