Dr. Jay Bettergarcia Associate Professor in Psychology and Child Development at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Dr. Bettergarcia leads the Queer Community Action, Research, Education, and Support (QCARES) team to explore queer and trans mental health, resilience, resistance, and joy! Dr. Bettergarcia is also a licensed psychologist and owner of The Center for Collaborative Transformations, a therapy and training center providing gender affirming therapy, training, and consultation rooted in anti-racism, liberation, and radical healing.
TICKETS: Tickets can be purchased online only and will not be available at the event. 10 sponsored (free) tickets are available to members of the community who can not afford to attend otherwise.
SEATING: Communal seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.
RESTRICTIONS: Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol + receive complimentary mimosa. Additional beer, wine, and hard cider will be available for purchase.
VENUE: This event will be held indoors in a well ventilated area. There is ample free parking at the venue.
